Welcome to West Bengal State Electricity Finance & Accounts Managers’ Association, a forum of Finance & Accounts Officers of West Bengal State Distribution Company Limited (WBSEDCL) and West Bengal State Transmission Company Limited (WBSETCL), established for the benefit, welfare and development of the members.
The Finance & Accounts Officers of WBSEDCL and WBSETCL are eligible to be the members of the Association. At present the Association is 328 members strong.
It is my great pleasure to address you as a President of this esteemed Association through this Website. Last year we celebrated Golden Jubilee of our Association with great enthusiasm and grandeur. Very few Associations have got such an opportunity to celebrate Golden Jubilee. It is possible due to tireless and united effort of all members of our Association. I also express my tribute and gratitude to all our past members of our Association; it was because of them that our Association could reach the Golden Jubilee Year. We shall conclude the celebration by publishing a special CORE which will contain the travelogue, memoirs, short stories, paintings, photographs of our members and their family members.
Power Sector plays a major role towards growth and economic development of our country.Both of our Organizations, WBSEDCL and WBSETCL are contributing to the State GDP and serving the people of Bengal. Our members play a critical role with honesty and integrity in managing the financial aspects of Transmission and Distribution operations along with budgeting, cost control, capital expenditure analysis, revenue collection, financial reporting and ensuring statutory compliance with regulatory requirement.
All 5 Zonal Committees and Vidyut Bhaban Committee are continuously addressing the concern and grievances of the members quickly and promptly and solving their problems at the base level. I am thankful to all our Sub Committee members for their active participation and continued support to our members. I expect all 5 Zonal Committees and Vidyut Bhaban Committee will meet their members regularly. Myself and my executive committee members are eagerly looking forward to take part in such meeting.
I expect all our members be remain united and like past occasions overcome the future challenges. I remind members what great thinker and poet Rabindranath Tagore and Father of the Nation Mahatma Gandhi said about unity:

Finally I wish my members and their family members all the best and success in their life.
Any suggestions from our members would always be welcome ,in making the website more pertinent, informative and useful.
Finance is the most challenging field in any company and we are proud to be a part of it.
All our members are performing their work with sincerity and dedication in this ever-changing environment with lots of challenges and constraints. It is we the finance persons who have collectively contributed the most in the journey of success of WBSEDCL.
I want to thank and express my gratitude to all the Zonal Committee members for their efforts and time they have given in resolving various issues of our members. Also, I would congratulate the Siliguri Zonal Committee members for conducting a memorable Zonal Committee meeting. Finally, I would really appreciate and acknowledge the hard work of all our members and assure you that association will always be by your side for all kind of support.
